Noodles with spicy octopus 4 servings
Ingredients 1 kilo of clean soft octopuses 500 grams of spinach noodles
Ginger and chili marinade 1 tablespoon of sesame oil 1 table spoon of grated fresh ginger 2 table spoons of lemon juice 2 tablespoons of chili sauce (according to your preference)
Tomato sauce 2-3 teaspoons of vegetable oil 3 small onions, sliced 1 can (440 grams) of tomato puree
Preparation

Marinade: In a bowl pour the sesame oil, ginger, lemon juice and chili sauce. Mix. Add the octopus soaking it in the sauce. Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.

Cook the pasta “al dente’ in plenty of water with salt. Drain, put on the side and keep hot.

Sauce: Heat the oil in a frying pan. Sauté the onions for 1 minute; add the tomato puree. Lower the heat and cook for 45 minutes.

Cook the octopus until soft. Add it to the sauce and mix. Serve over the hot pasta with its sauce.
Note As a main dish all the octopus needs are vegetables sautéed in butter or a fresh leaf salad. Along with toasted French bread. If served as a first dish it will yield 6 servings. It also tastes delicious with squid.
